UISO ALEMANY

Born in Valencia 1941.

“A man” quipped Uiso Alemany “faces the world thusly – and shows me a splendid landscape like a piece of desert – a host of questions that he never manages to answer: What mission is mine? Why the terrible solitude? When will I ever wake up? All of man’s fears, all of the aridness of frustration, all of the magic of discovery that being part of cosmos means… all these things I have tried to paint in painting the dunes in African lands.” (Uiso Alemany in Ma. Ángeles Arazo: “Uiso Alemany. Pasión por la materia” in Las Provincias, Valencia, January 25, 1990, p. 26.)

Kobi Israel

Born in 1970 in Tel-Aviv.

“My work is autobiographical and references the self and identity. I use the medium of photography as a way of recording experiences, capturing moments from my everyday life to draw on physical, mental and emotional levels. I use these fragments as a self reflective diary; a way of archiving my own identity and my environment.”
(Kobi Israel)

Davide Bramante

Born in 1970 in Siracusa, he lives in Siracusa. His way of working is an exact photograph of contemporary society: he’s able to still the spots he choose in the metropolises where he lives, or he visits or he knows.

His photographs are then the result of a visual and cultural stratification which imitates the overlae of styles and cultures in our modern european metropolises. (Vera Vitale)
