For young visitors

There will be workshops and scholarships for young people divided into different age groups providing an opportunity to discover the world of contemporary art. A series of activities directed by expert tutors will let them develop their own sense of observation and their creativity. More than a simple educational activity, it will be the occasion for young to become conscious witnesses of Contemporary Art, to understand artworks through direct contact with the artist’s work and through the experimental use of techniques (video, collages, photograph etc.), that will be at their disposal in the Warehouse Store.

Educational activity and school services

agreement protocols will make it possible for schools and universities to collaborate in artistic projects to develop an educational model for analysis and knowledge, recognized by educational institutions also through educational credits. Informative materials will be arranged: texts, biographies, articles, video, readings. Furthermore monographic and thematic shows about trends and artists of italian and international art will be included in the school program to promote a more widespread knowledge of Contemporary Art. These will be documented by the Warehouse publications.

Assistance to collectors

a team of well-known experts like museum curators, critics, students, dealers, restorers and specialists in fragile transport will be employed to support collectors in choice, in management of the art in their collections or in obtaining a specific and skilled opinion when choosing, for example, the work of a young artist, or in organizing transports, insurance policies, etc.Collectors will be able to receive personal or online advice on art quotation in order to select in the best, most up-to-date and competitive way in the art market.

Archive

It will be possible to consult, in person and on the web-site, an archive providing scientific support on Contemporary Art for the studious and the curious. There will be documents covering the Art of the ‘60s through to the lastest international trends, and books, catalogues and whole editions of national and international magazines about art, such as Flash Art, Frieze, Art Forum, Abitare, Domus, Parkett, Contemporary, Document sur l’art, etc. But even a videotheque with important documentaries about Contemporary Art and its protagonists will be available for the public.

Publications

Warehouse, as a dynamic space and factory also oriented towards archiving materials on Contemporary Art, will invest part of its resources in the production of documents, books, catalogues, videos, interactive cd’s, with the contribution of external critics, architects, curators, theorists and specialists, in addition to the curatorial staff of Warehouse.

WareStore

Inside the Warehouse center there will be a bookshop, also selling memorabilia, clothes and products connected to the exhibitions and the events, as well as all materials necessary for the workshops.

Warehouse Friends Club

A Club will be founded, providing membership cards, to introduce people to Contemporary Art, to collecting or simply to the numerous activities and cultural purposes of Warehouse.
