A new series of 8 large white cut outs made in collaboration with L'Wren Scott for her show at New York Fashion Week, were exhibited at the Gagosian Gallery, 21st Street, NYC on 20th February. Inspired from images taken in the Taman Negara rainforest in Malaysia, the work measures a total of 7ft x 44ft. Following this, Taman Negara was exhibited at Paul Kasmin Gallery, NY, Feb-Mar 09.

Margrét H. Blöndal e Zafos Xagoraris are among the artists invited to Manifesta 7. Manifesta is one of the most important Biennal of Contemporary Art in Europe and it takes place every two years in a different city. This year’s edition 2008 will be hosted not only by one city but by an entire region:Trentino-Alto Adige/South Tyrol, Italy, from July 19 to Novembre 2. The curators are Adam Budak, Anselm Franke/Hila Peleg, Raqs Media Collective.

Warehouse has been accepted in the project Cult- Cultural Teramo through a convention which formalizes a synergetic relationship for the sharing of very brave cultural enterprises.
What is public sculpture?
Warehouse organizes, in the aspired project “The city in a news article”, a laboratory on contemporary art addressed to the primary and secondary schools of the province of Teramo called “What is Public Sculpture? – The history of contemporary art between vandalism and creativity”.

Warehouse e Contemporary City Foundation
Warehouse - Contemporary Art in Teramo from this year is undertaking a common project with the Contemporary City Foundation of Moscow and with Teresa Mavica, artistic director of the foundation. The Foundation, constituted in 2005, is committed in giving a chance to the young Russian curators and in promoting young artists donating them a space as laboratory for specific project sites. For this purpose both Warehouse and Contemporary City Foundation with an enriched research of the young Russian art in an international context, will promote a programme with exhibitions, residences, project room and cultural activity exchanges with young Russian artists which through the following activities, will be exposed to a wider public.
